Feliz 4th of July!!!

My favorite month of the year....JULY, for ohhh so many reasons. It begins to get warm/hot here in Northern California. While living in L.A. I got accustomed to it being well over 70 degrees all year around. Well, here my friends it's a different story coats in S.F. can be worn for almost the whole year!! Coats I have invested in have had a rough life. They don't seem to see the closet for long. = )

Today we will be watching some of the most amazing Fireworks in the Bay area and it's only a couple blocks away from home. We walk there and bring our chairs, blankets, and snacks of course.

We are Blessed here in this Country and my family is grateful. My father came to San Francisco with 10 cents in his pocket and no family or friends. He came here to find work to send to my grandmother. Now we are Blessed to all have one another and have more than we could have ever imagined or dreamed. This Country attracts those with dreams and hopes for a better future.

Now I must go the b.b.q. pit is waiting and the pool is warm or at least I think it is. Today we will relax at home and eat.
